The BMW 3-series is known for its performance and handling, making it a popular choice among car enthusiasts. A new generation of the 3-series has debuted, and it’s available with a range of options and configurations. The gas-powered Neue Klasse 3-series can be configured with a 255-hp turbocharged 2.0 four-cylinder or a 437-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six.

The 330 model starts at $51,250 in rear-wheel-drive form, while the all-wheel-drive-only M350 starts at $67,250. Both models offer a wide selection of paint colors, wheel designs, and stand-alone options, making the new 2027 BMW 3-series a great candidate for customization.

Configuring the Perfect 3-Series

Joey Capparella configured his ideal 3-series, choosing the 330 model with a 255-hp four-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive. He opted for Eucalyptus Green Metallic paint and a Castanea reddish-brown faux-leather interior, and added staggered summer tires with 20-inch wheels and a space-saver spare. His total came out to $52,750.

Drew Dorian also chose the 330 model, but with the xDrive all-wheel-drive system and the M Sport appearance package. He painted his car Ocean Wave Blue Metallic and added two-tone 20-inch wheels, as well as the Comfort package, which includes a power trunk lid, heated steering wheel, and ventilated front seats. However, he was disappointed to find that the only way to get genuine leather upholstery was with a drab, all-black interior theme.

Eric Stafford configured his 3-series with a 255-hp four-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive, choosing Black Sapphire Metallic paint and deleting the rear badge. He added 20-inch M Trigon machine-faced wheels with staggered high-performance summer tires, as well as the M Sport package and M-tuned adaptive suspension. Inside, he chose the Digital White theme and swapped the standard steering wheel for an M-branded version.

The M350 xDrive model is notable for its high-performance capabilities. With its powerful engine and advanced features, the M350 xDrive is a great choice for drivers who want a thrilling driving experience. The fact that it comes well-appointed as standard, with features like a panoramic sunroof and a premium sound system, makes it an attractive option for those who want a luxurious and high-performance vehicle.

Final Configurations

The total cost of each configuration varies, ranging from $52,750 for Joey Capparella’s 330 model to $67,250 for the base M350 xDrive model. These prices reflect the different options and features chosen by each writer, demonstrating the flexibility of the 3-series lineup.
